Today was unusual. We had math and went to the garden and weeded which we normally don't do. Then we had recess and played. After recess it started to rain so we didn't go to soccer practice.
I haven't written anything to you for several days. I'm overdue! We had a somewhat unusual day here in that we also went to a garden, but we didn't do any weeding. Glenn and Carol have a huge garden, and they've been inviting us to help them deal with a "lollapalooza" crop. So, today we came home with some of the sweetest corn you can imagine, basil, tomatoes, cucumbers, beets, and more. Yummy (to use one of your food words)!
Tonight I went to a one-man performance of "Mark Twain." I did enjoy it, but it wasn't as exciting as I'd hoped.
