Today was really fun we first went to a park and jumped on a trampoline for an hour or so.Then we went back and my cousins and my parents had a spanish lesson.Then once adelaide finished we went rock climbing.When we finished we went home while my cousins went and saw a friend and then we watched Cracking the Mayan Code.

From reading your comments, Oscar, I think that you have had a wonderfully relaxed introduction to your year in San Cristobal ... soccer, rock climbing, side trips, new tastes, and much more. I'm glad that you have your first visitors already. Jo and I have enjoyed telling our friends about the experiences that you and your family are having.
ReplyDeleteEarlier tonight we reluctantly told Keir, Marya, Felix, and Cosmo goodbye. They will return to Chicago in the morning with many new memories, including seeing three bears in Glacier and being only a few feet from a bison in Yellowstone!

DeleteI can't believe you ate a caterpillar taco, Oscar--very adventurous. I think I will only eat one if else I would die of hunger. Your trip to get the permanent visas sounds nightmarish--in South Africa too, the bureaucracy can sometimes drive one nuts. Glad to hear you're having fun with Adelaide and Mathilde.
